Can not connect to RAS

Hello all!

I've configured RRAS on Win 2000 server with Active Directory and DHCP at the DMZ of LinkSys BEFVP41 router. User's dial-in privileges has been granted.

When I'm trying to connect with Win XP PPTP VPN client it's verifying username and password and than gives me "Error 721: The remote computer did not respond. For fur..."

I'd appreciate any help.

On the router/firewall you need to have TCP Port 1723 and IP Port 47 opened to allow GRE packets. Make sure your RAS server is configured correctly (ask if you need help setting this up). On the XP Client check the properties of the VPN connection; under the networking tab select PPTP rather than Automatic.
