Can not close IE

WHen pressing the X to close Windows Explorer, I get a short bip, and nothing happens
I can Minimize the Explorer, but Rigght clicking on the minimized window and selecting "close" it does not respond
I have runed Online virus scan , Spyware removel programs, but still no luck
Any suggestion

It's malware, not a virus.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
