Can not change web page in IE 6

We are running IE 6 service pack 2 on XP machines. We
just sent out Proxy server settings through group policy.
IE will start and we can get to our local home page but
some users can not go out to the internet. If we take out
the proxy setting then they can go to the internet.

Does anyone have any suggestions????? Windows 2000
machines are working fine
 
Solved my own problem. Users had Hotbar application
loaded on PC. Uninstalled application and IE and Proxy
started working.
