Our existing application software will not run on Windows 2003 Server. It
raises a security error informing that access to the server application
software is not accessable, which is of course running on the PC. The OS is
a standard install. All previous OS's have worked without a hitch?

The server is running as a DNS and the clients registered with the server.
TCP/IP Filtering is enabled for all ports for the server network connection.

You will need to contact the mftr. of your unnamed application software
for tech support. This also has nothing to do with the Windows XP
operating system. You might look for an answer in one of the server
newsgroups, but you should definitely start with the application's tech
support.
