Can no download IE SP1

I tried download IE SP1 setup file on my local drive, for next installing on
home PC(I have problem with internet connection there)
based on this advice:

During downloading process, I got 3 prompts "Do you want to run this
applications?" 'Fonts')
Each time I've selected 'No'(since I dont need install IE6.0 for PC where i
currently just download it),
finally, I got message 'files can not be saved' or something like this -
download failed. Where is problem?
 
Hi Mistral,

I would suggest you to Download Full Version of Internet Explorer, follow
the given steps :

1. Create a folder at the root of C:\ and name it "Windows Update Setup
Files" without the quotes.

If you have a previous folder with that name, empty it and reuse the empty
folder. You could also save your previous update files to another folder in
case you ever want to reinstall the previous version of Internet Explorer.

2. Download the ie6setup.exe file into the folder you just created from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.asp

or to go directly to the file:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ie6sp1/finrel/6_sp1/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/ie6setup.exe

3. After the file is downloaded into the Windows Update Setup Files folder
you created, Go to Start->Run and type in exactly (or just copy and paste it):

"C:\Windows Update Setup Files\ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"

You must include all of the quotes (6 of them).

4. Click OK.
5. Accept the EULA
6. Click Next

You will get to a box where you can now download IE6 for all versions of
Windows at once

7. Check them all off or choose just the Operating Systems you want.
8. Change the download path at the top of the window to: C:\Windows Update
Setup Files
9. Click Next

After downloading is over (size 11.8 MB)

10. Click OK
11. Browse to C:\Windows Update Setup Files folder
12. Double click the ie6setup.exe file to begin the installation.

You can save the Windows Update Setup Files folder to a server or to a CD so
you can do future installations on other machines. You must first copy the
Windows Update Setup Files folder to the root of the C: drive of the machine
you are doing the update on. Then open the Windows Update Setup Files folder
and just double click the ie6setup.exe file to begin the installation.

Hi,

I just forgot to change default download patch (default was shown as
"C:\Windows\Windows Update Setup Files" to my one I created: C:\Downloads.
So this created files in my C:\Windows\Windows Update Setup Files
directory. Is it safe to remove this folder?

Not sure that this is correct approach. Use this logic I must to agree work
with damaged part of software(IE is part of windows) on my PC. Why to stick
to windows at all?

Usually an MS 'Setup'' program is one that is installed on line. For
your info MS generally calls what you want a 'network install' and as
far as I could find out in the past it isn't offered for Internet Explorer.

Check the information here ...

This is for the full IE6 package and one would think that it is up to
date as far as patches are concerned but there are no guarantees.

Finally I got full pack from ms site, as described in link:
http://www.updatexp.com/download-ie6.html
Important thing is that its necessary to check all boxes(select full pack),
this way all goes correct.
