Can messages be tracked if recipient views thru read pane only?

a message be tracked when the recipient only views thru the reading pane?

Usually not if the default Internet zone settings haven't been changed.

Perhaps I misunderstood this. Do you mean that the sender included a read
receipt and you want to know if a receipt will be returned if the recipient
views the message in the Reading Pane? Yes, but only if the message gets
marked read and only if the recipient honors receipt requests.
