All,
If I recall correctly, it used to be that one could just type "cnn" into the
Address Bar, and the browser would, after failing to find a server at the
URL http://cnn would then guess that what you really meant to type was
"http://www.cnn.com," and it would automatically take you there. This was
very convenient.
My installation of IE6 doesn't provide this convenient way of loading URLs,
even those that begin with "www" and end with ".com" -- and I wish that it
would. Is there a place that I can go in the settings to fix this problem?
