can i update an access database online?

My Mom's business has a huge Access database which she'd like me to update,
can I somehow connect to it via the internet?

How big is huge? What do you mean by "update"? Do you want to be able to
use the db online so your mom (and others) can access her records at work,
home, or in Tahiti -OR- do you simply want to work on the file in an
administrator fashion over the internet so you don't have to travel to
physically to the computer's location that is serving your mom's db?

I'd be interested in the former solution: using the forms, reports, etc in a
database, from a remote location. Access suggests that you can load a
database from FTP, but I can't get it to recognise a valid file using IIS,
even from "localhost" on the local computer.
