I have a .mp3 file on my computer that was changed
today. Is there anyway I can find out who changed this
file? The change would have been made on another
computer, that I believe tapped into my network today.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They won't leave tracks. Check your network logs.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I checked my log (I think I looked in the right place)
and it did not turn up anything except a "Teardrop or
derivative" and a "SYN Flood" both on a date other than
the days my network was accessible. I don't think this
person has any malicious intentions, in fact I have
reason to believe that he/she would leave tracks or clues
on purpose. They are playing a game with me, I just want
to find out more about them...I think that's the point of
this game. I played the .mp3 file, looked at it's
properties, and even pulled it into WMP to bring up the
advanced tag editor...nothing. Any ideas?

who cares about some music file...get your priorities straightened out...
