Can I stop meeting requests from auto populating calendar?

I support several high-level executives who have many demands on their time.
Since they have so many meeting requests coming in all the time, their
calendars become double and triple booked with meetings they (or I) have not
yet accepted. Is there a way to turn this function off, so that only the
requests that have been accepted appear on their calendars?

are they being autoaccepted or just placed there as tentative?

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am having the same issue. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks.

No, nobody ever posted a solution after I told them it was placed as
tentative. Sorry, wish I had a better answer.

That's because that's how it works.

I have a user that would also like the tentative appointments not show up on
the calendar. They should make it optional.
