can I start the install of xp with floppies?

i am having a problem with xp sp1 it keeps saying that the
format of my cds are corrupt or windows can not read them.
I WANT TO REINSTALL XP CAN YOU START THE INSTALL FROM 3.25
DISKETTES?
 
Contact Microsoft or your computer manufacturer (if XP came with the
computer) and explain the situation to them. They can help you.
 
If you have a retail version of XP, the CD is bootable. Check your
computer's manual for instructions on booting from CD. If your computer
came with XP installed, then the manufacturer provided some means for
putting the system back to its "out of the box" state. Again, consult your
manual, or contact the manufacturer for information on this process.
