Can I sell WinXP Pro Retail?

B

I have a full, retail boxed version of MS Windows XP Pro, that I
no longer need, as I have switched to using Linux. (no flames
please)

Can I legally sell this, and can the new owner, re-register / activate
it with Microsoft?

Thanks,
Bill Crocker

Yes you can sell it. You must include the Cert of Authenticity and the
25 character Product Key. The new owner then installs it. When it
comes to activation, if it is more than 120 days since you last did it,
he will find it will go through on the net just like first time. If
not, he will have to phone a toll-free number that will be given, to
explain and swap one long number for another to check back on typing it
in
