Can I save custom property settings?

My department has a network copier/printer that can do duplex
printing. Is there any way I can create an additional entry for the
same printer in my Printers and Faxes folder so that I can configure
one for single side and one for double side and just select the
correct entry at print time rather than change the settings each time
I need to do this?

TIA

Yes

Do you connect directly to the network card of the printer or is the printer
shared by another machine?

If you are connecting to a share, you should contact the "server" owner to
setup a shared Duplex printer.

If you connect directly to the NIC of the printer just add another printer
setting up the Advance Printer Defaults to meet your need. Be sure to name
the local printer something other than "Print Model Name (Copy1)"

We connect to a share on a print server so I'll talk to IT about
creating a duplex copy. Thanks for your help.
