can I run Word 2000 and Word 2007 on the same computer? One microsoft tech
person told me I could not and hid word 2007 on my computer. Another
microsoft tech person told me I could have both installed and working. Which
is true? And how do I unhide Word 2007?
Thank you.

See http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm which shows how to have
both Word 2003 and 2007 working together. I don't see why Word 2000 should
be different, however note that Word 2000 is Word 9.0 whereas Word 2003 is
Word 11.0 where these numbers are used in the registry.
If Word 2007 is installed on your PC, then create a shortcut to C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\winword.exe
If you are running Word 2000, this will cause Word 2007 to reconfigure.
If this is a company machine, run it by your IT support or you may be
looking for a new job by Monday!
