Can I repress printing the header in word documents?

I want to be able to see the header on screen but do not want the header to
print.

Is it possible???

If so how?

If you Hide the text, and then under Tools, Options, Print Tab, make sure the
Print Hidden Text is deselected, this should work for you.

Format it as hidden (Format>Font>Font tab) and make sure that you clear
the option to print hidden text on the Print tab of Tools>Options.

Works perfectly.

"Hide Text" is also effective on the jpg image pasted into the header.
