Can I repair XP Pro with XP Familial?

My mother buy XP Familial but on her computer is Pro.

But after 1 year the XP pro System 32 crash and now it ask to put XP Pro
disk and press R but she only have Familial will it work??

No, sorry, this won't work. You will need an XP PRO cd.

You can only repair a Windows XP Professional system
using a Windows XP Professional installation CD.

If you have only a Windows XP Home Edition CD,
and have Windows XP Professional installed,
then you'll have to reformat the hard drive and install
Windows XP Home Edition from scratch.
