Can I put a PDF file in Front Page?

I've created a website for our local art club and they would like to put
their newsletter on the web for members to download. They sent it to me via
email in the form of a PDF file. Is there a way for me to attach it to
their Front Page web so that they could click on a link in the web and be
taken to the file for downloading?

Thanks so much for any answer in advance!

It's amazing how many times this question gets asked and answered. And
people don't bother to read previous posts ;-)

File | Import the PDF into a folder in your FP web, create a link to it on a
page, publish your site.

Import the file to a location inside your web.
Create a link to it on a page, just like any other page or file.

Publish.

Tom,

I did a search of the newsgroup putting "PDF" in the subject line before I
posted my question and found nothing. So I think your statement about
reading previous posts was uncalled for. Not everyone has the day free to
read in the body of each and every post to see if they contain the answer
they are seeking. The purpose, I thought, of the Front Page Newsgroup was
to help people find quick answers to their Front Page dilemmas.

Having vented..I do want to say that I realize that you guy volunteer your
time to be here to maintain your Microsoft MVP designations or something
like that and we who are not as literate in Front Page as you are do
appreciate your help.

Could you help further by telling me HOW to import the PDF folder into my
web? I tried the insert/file but it didn't work...just keeps jamming my
Front Page so I have to close down.

I found the answer to the import.. Create a folder in your Front Page
directory to house your PDF file. Then open the origination folder that
houses your saved PDF file on your computer and drag it from that file,
dropping it into the folder you created. Then, on any page of your site,
create a link to that file.

Hope this helps some of you out there!

Thats one way the other way is to use File | Import, (although drag/drop
works...if you're clumsy like me and drop into the wrong place...)
