Can I publish the Outlook Calendar but with only filtered appts?

I am trying to publish a calendar to a website, but would like to only show
certain filtered appointments or events. I have tried using a "categorie"
filter, which looks fine onscreen, but when I go to publish it, all
appointments show up? What approach do I need to use?
 
Use the filter to help you copy the appointments to a new, blank calendar folder, then publish that folder.
