Can I permanently delete selected mails from my Inbox?

Rather than use the normal delete function for a mail in my InBox (and then I
have to permanently delete selected items from my Deleted Items folder) ...
I'd like to selectively Permantently Delete (move them right to that recovery
folder) items in my InBox.

Hit Shift-Delete on the mail item.

Thank you! I thought I tried Ctrl. Alt and Shift with Delete before, but I
guess not Shift.

I should also point out that this method seems to bypass the Recovery
Folder, so that e-Mail might really be gone forever (which works for me).

When I hit Shift+Delete it just moves my cursor to the bottom of the mailbox
folder. Is there a way to reset the shortcut key?
