We are running on a intranet, and we would like to link a specific folder
from the document. The reason is people add files to this folder all the time
and it would take a lot of maintenance to update it all the time, instead if
we could link it to the folder, there would be no maintenance.

Is this possible?
Thanks

Hi Davi,

There are several ways to tie into a folder, among them,

- Setting a default file save folder location in Word's options (mapping a folder using Windows features may also be helpful with
that choice)

- Adding a folder to the shortcut list on the left side of the File=>Save dialog.

- Using Insert=>Hyperlink in Word to open a folder using a link in a document.

You didn't mention the version of Word you're using or what you need to do with or in that linked folder, so the suggestions are
somewhat generalized.
