Can I index network drives

Did you get this to work because when I use windows desktop search it does
not search network drives. I always have to use search companion.

Desk top search isn't part of Windows XP, and since I don't use it, no idea.

If you map the Drive, Windows desktop search can then be used to search if
you set that mapped drives in the search options. This is not reccomended if
you have several users using that drive as it can increase network traffic
and occasionally cause files to switch to read only on users.
