Word can search in items that are in the 'text layer' (i.e. it does 'flat world' searching. If the table has wrapping turned on, or
if a graphic or shape is not formatted as 'inline with text' (Textboxes would be formatted as 'wrapped' in Word 2000) then
Edit=>Find can't 'see them'.
A quick test is to switch to 'Normal' view. If you can't see the table or textbox then it won't be found using the Edit=>Find menu
item.

"Find" in Word 2000 doesn't seem to include text boxes or tables in its
search. Is there a "tweak" to fix this?
Thanks>>
