I'm using Outlook 2003 and want to set tasks for future dates, but not have
them show on outlook today page until their start date. Can I do this?

Have you clicked "Customize Outlook Today" and chosen "Today's Tasks" rather
than "All Tasks" to be shown?

To me it makes a lot of sense. I do not need a task appearing in outlook
today when I'm facing a deadline in a few hours. I haven´t figured it out
either. Does anybody have any ideas?

Easy peasy - and posted here often by me:

use the Taskpad in the Calendar and set it this way - View | TaskPad View |
Active Tasks for selelcted days. Now use both start and due dates when you
make Tasks and they will appear in the TaskPad on their Start Date, go Red
the day after Due date (unless you check them as Complete).

Yes, definitely the way to solve most of the problem - I was just really
wanting to do that on the "today" view instead - but thanks, i just go to
this calendar view now instead.
