Can I filter by something not in a field

Hi all,

I have a macro that filters different columns of a sheet. One of the things
that it filters is a column called last used date. At the moment I have set
it to filter custom - anything after 4th august.

Is there a way that I can get it to only give me the data for the last say
month or fortnight?
