Can I extract or access my data from my old drive?

I recently installed my old hard drive in my new computer and re-installed
office 2003 onto the new drive. The old drive still has my old messages from
my previous install of Outlook 2003. Is there any way to extract all my old
Outlook data from my old hard drive and/or access the data from my old drive?
I’ve tried disconnecting my new drive but windows won’t boot from the old
one.

The reason I did this is because my monitor blacked out on my IBM Netvista
all in one unit. I couldn’t hook up another monitor to see my files to back
up, so they didn’t get backed up first.
Thanks.
