can i erase search history?

how can i erase my search history so nosey guests can't see what i've been
researching? I've had my computer for one week and know nothing about
navigating through this thing. I'll need step by step instructions. PLEASE
HELP ASAP!

Right-click on your Taskbar and select:
Properties > Start Menu > Customize > Clear

open browser > click tools > internet options > click clear history > days
to keep pages in history * 0 * then content tab (up above) click autocomplete
clear the boxs ( Web addresses, Forms, user...) click clear forms clear
pass...
ok > then click my profile button.clear that by clearing addresss book in
outlook
express.

Then write a nice message to those vnspm at NSA to see if they will do
their bit too.
