Can I do this? (text animation)

I'm trying to create an effect where a phrase of text will look like
it's coming out of a jar on a curve and then flattening out to a normal
horizontal position above the jar. Motion paths would work except it
doesn't rotate the text along the path. It just leaves it in it's
original orientation. Anyone know of some way to achieve this? I've
tried looking for add-in programs with more effects, but they all seem
to be for transitions and not text.

It can be done - but it will cost you some time. Use single letters (WordArt
or normal Text in single text boxes) and animate them one by one to have
them wander along the path, rotating a small angle while on the round part
of it.

Try adding a "with previous" custom animation > spin > 90 clockwise to the
motion path animation. Wont be perfect in the flash "align to path " sense
but should look OK
