Can I copy the cached email address?

Dear all,

I am changing my pc but I would like to get my cached email address in the
OL2003. I think these cached files are stored on a single file, How can I get
that? will this work after copying to a different pc?.

pls some one can advise

The name cache is the file %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\profilename.NK2,
where
%AppData% is a hidden folder and "profilename" is the name of your mail
profile. OPen WIndows Explorer and enter

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

in the Address field and click Go. You should see the file. You can copy
this file to the new PC, make sure it's not read-only after the copy, and
name it to match the mail profile on the new machine. This should allow you
to have the same name cache on the new machine as you did on the old.
