Can I automatically receive Hotmail items without pressing send/r.

Outlook 2003. I have MSN Hotmail Plus. I receive e-mails from my ISP (POP3)
but e-mails via Hotmail (HTTP) can only be received by pressing
"Send/Receive". If I miss the desktop alert from MSN Messenger the Hotmail
e-mail can easily be overlooked.
In send/receive settings the "Receive mail items" is not availabe for the
Hotmail account. Is this because it is an HTTP account? The POP3 account has
both "Receive mail items" and "Send mail items" options available.

You can define a new mail group with only your Hotmail account in it. Then,
schedule that group for automatic send and receive every xx minutes.

Thanks for reply, but even if the Hotmail account is in a separate mail group
it still doesn't have a "Receive mail items" option. I think this is because
it is an HTTP account rather than a POP3. Is there a way round this?
