Can I attach an Outlook email to an Excel cell?

I have many situations where information in an email (I use Outlook)
supplements and explains the accounting I do in Excel. It would be very
helpful if I could open a related email from a cell, sort of like a comment.

If you save the e-mail as a msg file, you can insert a Hyperlink to it
into the cell. Then clicking the hyperlink would open the message file.

And what if you manage to save the email in an Excel cel (as an
object), you need to open it before reading it. Do you want to use
Excel as a storage database?? That's not a good idea.
Would it help you if you get the 'hyperlink' to the msg file in a
Access database? Can you connect that database to your Excel file, or
maybe work in Access as well?
Using mailtofile (corporate version, see www.mailtofile.com/en/) email
is registered in an Access database at the very moment you save the
email as file in a directory.
