Can I add different kinds of bullets from those shown?

I would like to be able to use bullets that are not like those listed. There
are several in the "symbols" section that I would like. Is there a way to
add them to my bullets choices?
 
Sure there is. clcik on one of the bulletes then customize , then click on
character button it will open symbols dialogbox
