Can FrontPage be used to edit previously installed sites

Hi!

I've just decided to use FrontPage to edit a web site
that I had previously put up. Do I need to add FrontPage
extensions if I know the server already has them. Can I
make online changes to the site, if the extensions are
there or can I republish the site once I've downloaded it.

TIA.

Congrats.

Probably not. Though "having them" and they being "installed on that web"
might be different things. If you previously put files there with
FrontPage, you can again.

You can do both or either, depending on your preference.

In addition to Sparky...

You can open your existing online web with FP.
Then PUBLISH it from your online server to your local hd.
Then you'll see what you can do, without damaging what you have online. This will also tell ya if the FPSE are working.
