Can firewalls conflict?

hey bud i dont disagree with any one here but im using a router which has a
buit in firewall / my pc uses a firewall 2 of them i use the basic windows
xp firewall and i use Norton Personal Firewall the combo and i have no
probems and both my pc's are that way so its about how u set them up thats
all i have to say

Hi Iman,

I'm not sure what you were replying to, but firewalls can conflict like any
software can. Like with antivirus programs, the problem has improved over
recent years, but whenever any program occupies a similar function to
another program - or even is in the memory at the same time - conflicts are
always a possibility.
