this is just fog getting info, if you can not open it, please post what
system are you using, if you are beying a router or not.

Thanks in advance

No problem here. Mac OS 10.4.9, Firefox 2.0.0.4, Comcast cable with a
Linksys router.

What difficulties are you having? Or are you just a troll?

If you have a problem, feel free to post such.

Not everybody can open this site because not everybody will be visiting this
newsgroup. Hope that clears up any confusion.

Well, i has really hoping some of you might not be abled to open it, that
would be good news. That would mean Vista had evolved...
The situation is there is a feature in TCP (explored for some time) that
increases speed, but not every router and site are ready to work with it.

this is taking out from a manual:

tcp_window_scaling
------------------
Enable RFC1323 TCP window scaling. It is enabled by default.
This feature allows the use of a large window (> 64K) on a TCP
connection, should the other end support it. Normally, the 16
bit window length field in the TCP header limits the window size
to less than 64K bytes. If larger windows are desired, applica-
tions can increase the size of their socket buffers and the win-
dow scaling option will be employed. If tcp_window_scaling is
disabled, TCP will not negotiate the use of window scaling with
the other end during connection setup.

So, using TCP with this advanced connection, not all sites will open for
now, but if you can open the site then obviosly you're all still using the
old way.
The site i gave was just an example.

No, obviously not, particularly since not everyone who replied is using
Vista and you didn't even ask for connection details in your "survey".
Your "experiment" is flawed and you handled this stupidly. If you had
posted that you wanted to know this particular information in the first
place, you might have had more accurate results.

But I for one think you're just a troll and I don't waste my time on
trolls. *plonk*

Ah great, it's good to see that you all like to be a bunch of retards...

Not sure that your "experiment" is checking for the proper use of / function of
tcp_window_scaling.

Simply opening a standard web page from an Apache server won't test it, unless the folks
at DLS Internet Services
have been letting you play with the tcp stacks on their servers.

You need to post details of exactly what does happen, what should
happen and why.
No way for anyone here to know what your issue is.
Without such details, your post is much like other similar spam
routinely posted to newsgroups.

Calling people "bunch of retards" is further evidence to support it is
nothing more than spam.

If you have a genuine issue, I suggest you start a new thread and give
the details.
Many will not attempt to try your link without sufficient reason.
