hi ive been getting all sorts of BSODs on my current system: stop 0x50,
0x24, 0x0a etc... Because of a long overdue upgrade i have been slowly
replacing parts on my system. first was the motherboard (still had BSODs)
then the video card (Still had BSODs), then the CPU (BSODs stopped). I have
heard very little about CPUs being the culprit. Most of the causes point
towards faulty memory and driver updates.
my upgrades...
mobo: gigabyte ga-7vrxp -> abit nf7-s
video card: ASUS V8170 DDR -> radeon 9700 pro
cpu: amd xp 2000+ -> amd xp mobile 2600+
memory (next on the list): kingston value 256 mb -> kingston hyperx 1024mb
with a mobile cpu onboard, the temps are obviously down which is a good
thing. I have not been overclocking on the old/new system upgrades.
Any insights most valued!
cheers
