Can anyone tell me how to remove the background page number on my.

I have had someone's else's spreadsheets passed on to me. Each worksheet has
large text "PAGE 1" or PAGE 2 in the backgroud like a watermark. Can anyone
tell me how to remove these?

View|Normal on the worksheet menubar.

You're in "View|Page Break Preview" mode
