XP has no way to know that he doesn't want to set up an account. Also,
You had to set up an account at one time. XP used the "Default" account
to create yours. So, Though you may never again need to set up another
user account, this is not a redundancy. It is something XP needs to
operate properly.

Remember, XP wasn't written only for you. It was written for many
different users with many different needs. Therefore, it will contain
functions/features that you may not need. This does not make those
functions/features useless, just irrelevant for you.
