Can anyone help please

Mel

Hi,

I had a problem on another computer with a Trojan that kept making a dozen
ads pop up and eventually closed me out of internet when I would close the
boxes. I finally managed to keep it on by gong in through passport, and do/l
a anti spy ware programme which 'I think', has cleaned off the problem, as
well as there were new programs it also do/l and I think I have uninstalled
them, I have not connected that computer back on the internet yet, however
after doing a detect and destroy, I have a box comes up with the following

***********

n-CASE Alert

box "WARNING"
The system has detected that a third-party application has removed n-CASE,
possibly without your consent. This may cause some programs not to run as
expected. Please choose an option below.

options

1 re_install n-CASE so that your programs will run as expected. Requires
internet connectivity.

2 Leave n-CASE un-installed, and clean up any n-CASE files or setting that
remain.

Remind me later

box "continue

********

Can anyone advise me what to do.
Thank you

n-Case was one of the parasites that was removed, you don't want it back.
You want to leave it uninstalled. See
http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/nCase.html for more info.

n-Case is adware. It is one of the programs you are trying to avoid. Check
out, http://sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.ncase.html. I suggest you
download Spybot Search and Destroy,
http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10194058.html?tag=lst-0-1. Download the
latest update and let it clean your machine. Since I started using Spybot,
and the google toolbar with pop up protection, the adware, spyware and pop
ups have disapeared into distant memories.

n-Case is a type of adware and as such was removed by your antispy software.
It is generally installed with other programs "Such as Kazaa"
Personally I would have it clean up any n-Case files but there may be
programs on your computer that will no longer run. If there are then you
have found the source of the n-Case being installed in the first place.
