Can Access 2002 files be opened in MS Office 2000?

Hello,
My agency has posted an Access 2002 database for downloading. On the
description web page we've made the following statement:

The CEDI/ADI table is compressed (zipped) into self-extracting executable
files. Execution of this downloaded file produces a database (.mdb) file.
Launching the mdb file requires Microsoft Access from Office 2000 (or later).

Would it be correct to say that an Access 2002 file can be launched in MS
Access from Office 2000 (or later)? We wrote that statement when we were
using Access 2000.

Thanks in advance,
Ellen

By default, both Access 2002 and Access 2003 use the same format as Access
2000. There is, however, an optional new Access 2002/2003 format. If you
have used the 2000 format, and not used any new features that were not
supported in Access 2000, you should be OK. But problems will arise if you
have either used the new 2002/2003 format, or used any new features that
were not supported in Access 2000.

a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

Thanks, Brendan. This file was saved in Access 2002 from Access 2000 with
nothing else done to it, so there wouldn't be any features new to Access
2002. Thanks for your quick reply!
