Can Access 2.0 and Access 2000 co-exist?

I have a customer who has an old access 2.0 installed and
an Access 2.0 application that they need to run. They
also need to install Access 2000 applications on the same
PC. When they install with Access 2000 or the Access
2000 runtime, neither program works any longer.

Is their any way to get the two versions of Access to co-
exist on the same PC?

Did you install over the top, or in its own directory? I've been told they
do co-exist, but the farthest back I've gone is having 97, 2000 and XP all
on the same box.

Jon,

Install Access 2000 in it's default directory.
Afterward, temporarily rename the file msaccess.exe file to something like
msaccess.2k
With Access 97, you need to next delete the Hatten font in FONTS. You may
not need to do this with Access2.0
Then install Access 2.0 into a directory other than default.
Return the access 2k exe file name back to the original.
The programs should be able to co-exist.

I run versions 2.0, 97, 2000, and 2002 on the same machine. If they are not
installed in the order of versions, uninstall everything, reboot, and
reinstall each version in it's own directory. You will need to point each
application to the correct executable using a shortcut:

"C:\Path to msaccess.exe" "C:\Path to application"
