I've downloaded the driver for my Samsung Digimax 210se but still my PC
won't find the necessary software.

Can anyone help please???

Were any install instructions available
on the page you downloaded the driver
from?

Have you tried going to...Control Panel /
Scanners And Cameras / Add An Imaging
Device.
