camera and scanner wizard

My camera and scanner wizard works only occassionally
when i plug my fugi finepix digital camera into my
Toshiba 3005 laptop. I use windows xp. How can I open
the wizard if it does not open automatically?

Deena,

You should be able to open an explorer window to My Computer (open start
menu and click My Computer) and you should be able to see your camera in the
explorer window. Actually, what you might see is the storage device used in
your camera so it might not be exactly the same name as your camera. Just
open My Computer before you plug in your camera and you should see it appear
in the listview. When you find it just double click it.
