Camcorder/picture package/Macromedia Flash

I have a new camcorder that came with picture package software for editing,
etc. I downloaded Macromedia Flash as required. Each time I try to open the
picture package menu I get the same message "To run this application you need
to install Macromedia Flash Player first." I have verified that Macromedia
Flash is installed and working but still get the same message. HELP! Rod
 
You downloaded the Flash player, but did you install it? Check in
the Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs for Macromedia
Flash Player 8 to see if it is listed. If not, it is not installed.

Yes, it is listed. I uninstalled and then installed again but I still get the
same message. Must be a problem with the Picture Package software?
