THIS MESSAGE IS REFERRED TO M$ TOO!

Now Cambodia is being localize Linux to Khmer language, plan to finished end
of this year. The reason because:

1). Most of Cambodians have no ability to purchase M$ software (Windows XP
pro in Cambodia price >400$US at the time GDP per Capita < 400$US) and
Cambodia is member of WTO (Need to protect the propriety software) We may no
longer can use the Pirate software!

2). No Microsoft subsidiary office in Cambodia, so we have no local support,
they ask us to Contact Thailand subsidiary, ha very bad, we cannot read Thai
text!

3). M$ has not yet translated their software to Khmer, they should do for
Windows XP starter edition (Cambodians have ability to purchase it)

If Microsoft consider about this issue, Most of Cambodians would adopt the
Windows XP starter Edition with English and Khmer language (Should be
changeable between Khmer and English).

There isn't any money to be made in cambodia so I can't make any
software for you poor people. Go ahead and make use of any software you
can but don't pirate any of my software otherwise my government will
deal with you lot!

Don't bother my loyal users with your stupid reasoning on these
newsgroups. They have very important work to do to support my products.

OK, because we do not want and we do not need to use pirate software we have
translated Open source software to Khmer, for our poor people using!

But I know that Windows XP Starter edition for developing country, why you
said "There isn't any money to be made in Cambodia so I can't make any
software for you poor people."?

Why don't you talk to Microsoft directly? This is an unmonitored public
newsgroup. If you want to start a dialog with them, I would also suggest
that you be more courteous than writing M$ - that just shows a juvenile
attitude. No one will take you seriously.

Finally have you looked at the country localization kits that Microsoft
provides, since that would enable Cambodia to do with Windows what is
being done with Linux?
