CALL SERVICE E13 on Panasonic KXP4450i printer

Hello,

We have a Panasonic 4450i laser printer. Lately the print has become
fainter and also has given us CALL SERVICE E13 errors. The user has to
then turn off the printer and then turn it back on then resend their
print job.

I just changed the print developer today (KX-PDP1). The print quality
became better, but we are still plagued with the E13 error. Is there
anything else that can be done to fix this problem?

Assuming there is sufficient developer and toner this is usually caused by a
worn toner delivery roller which is part of the toner hopper.
The roller can be replaced although it is a little tricky.
The big issue is locating parts for this printer which is no longer supported
by Panasonic. Unfortunately I have no idea where you would get parts.
