calendar keeps returning to today's date

Regardless of the date I am viewing, if I leave the calendar app and use
another Outlook App, upon returning to the calendar, today's date
appears...forgetting the date I was previously using.

Very frustrating.

outlook will always return to today's date. if you need to view the calendar
and a folder and have the date not change, open a second outlook window
(right click on a folder and choose open in new window)

Thank you , Diane. Though not what I'm used to (Palm), you're "open a second
window" does solve the overall problem.
