Calendar in Navigation Pane

Need to know if there is a way to see an actual calendar (month) in the
navigation pane.
 
In OL2007 I think the thumbnail calendar only shows up in the To-Do bar
 
Only if you turn off the display of the Calendar/To-Do Bar.
