Calendar... Button opens another Outlook Instance ...

Hello -

Whenever I receive an invitation to a meeting and I press the
Calendar... Button in the meeting request, Outlook (2003 SP1) opens
another instance of itself with the Calendar showing.

Is this a bug and is there a way to turn this off? I would just like
to go the the calendar of the currently running Outlook instance.

That's by design. You can't change the behavior.

And it's not another instance of Outlook, just another Outlook window.
