calendar appointments and sharing

On outlook calendar and sharing, is there a setting that would automatically
default when I have an appointment on my calendar that others can ONLY see
that I am busy and not see what my appointment is. I know there is a setting
on the appointment page that can be checked, but is there a way to make that
box always to "Busy" instead of cecking it each time?

I think you mean "Private".

Yes, there is a way. However, I would not suggest doing this.

- Select the TOOLS menu
- Select OPTIONS
- Select the E-MAIL OPTIONS tab
- Click the ADVANCED E-MAIL OPTIONS button

Near the bottom of the window is a section titled "When
sending a message". Here you will find the "Set Sensitivity:"
option and you could select it to set the sensitivity to PRIVATE.

This will make EVERYTHING you send be set to PRIVATE.
This includes Meetings, etc. This will make meetings hidden and
cause other problems that may not be apparent until later.

Another option for you would be to make a template for your
Appointments and use that for all email you send.
