How do I access the Calculator that's usually found in
Accessories? I clicked there but no Calculator appear.
Any suggestions?????

There should be a calculator.
Maybe someone deleted it?
Did you look in the recycle bin?

Hi,

click on start | Run and type calc. if this doesnt come
then go to control panel, click add/remove programs,
select windows components and then open the accessories
and utilities and hten accessories. if calculator is not
checked it means it is not installed. check it and then
click on ok and it will prompt for ur xp cd. insert the
cd and this will install calculator on ur pc.

Hi

Start>Run - then type in "calc" - without the quotes. If the Calculator doesn't appear you can try re-installing it:

Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows Components>Accessories and Utilities 'Details'>Accessories 'Details'.

Trish;
Start/Search/Files and Folders/type: calc.exe /ENTER. It should be at
C:\Windows\system32.
Or open Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs/Add-Remove Windows Components/highlight
Accessories and Utilities/click the Details button/highlight Accessories/click the
Details button/Calculator should be first on the list, check it if it is not
checked/OK your way out.
Hope this helps. Let us know.

The Accessories folder does not look like Win 9x. I had to hunt down my old
Accessories items and place shortcuts in my own folder..

To save you time for now, the calculator is now located in
C/Windows/system32. Go there and scroll down to the calculator, right-click
it, and select "Create Shortcut". Cut and paste shortcut where wanted. You
may have to do this several times if more than one location is wanted.

Please reply to the Newsgroup.

Malvern;
My Accessories folder does. I use the Classic View.
Try this: Right click start/Properties/Start Menu tab/select Classic Start
Menu/Apply/Customize button/pick options/OK your way out.
Some of us like the old Windows look.
Hope this helps. Let us know.

Malv;
All I know is, that with XP it does not crash all the time. But there are still
many opportunities. I am working on one now with Advanced System Information. :-)
